  فيصل بن الحسين: الملك الذي جلس على عرشي سوريا والعراق صدر الصورة، GETTY IMAGES في الثالث من أكتوبر/ تشرين الأول من 1932 انضم العراق إلى عصبة الأمم كدولة "مستقلة" بعد أكثر من عقد من تنصيب بريطانيا فيصل بن الحسين ملكاً عليه. وقبل ذلك اليوم بنحو 14 عاما وتحديدا في 4 أكتوبر/ تشرين الأول من عام 1918 كان فيصل قد دخل دمشق لينهي السيطرة العثمانية على البلاد التي استمرت 400 عام ثم يجلس لاحقا على عرش المملكة العربية السورية التي كانت قصيرة العمر، ولكنها شملت كل بلاد الشام. فمن هو فيصل بن الشريف حسين بن علي  الذي جلس على عرشي العراق وسوريا ؟ تقول دائرة المعارف البريطانية إن فيصل بن حسين وُلد في 20 مايو/آيار من عام 1885 في مكة وكانت تتبع الإمبراطورية العثمانية حينئذ وتوفي في 8 سبتمبر/أيلول من عام 1933 في برن بسويسرا، وكان رجل دولة وملك العراق (1921-1933)، كما كان رائد النهوض بالقومية العربية أثناء وبعد الحرب العالمية الأولى.   وكان والده حسين بن علي أمير وشريف مكة الذي حكم الحجاز من عام 1916 إلى عام 1924   لقد أتاحت الحرب العالمية الأولى فرصة للتمرد للعديد من القادة العرب الذي...
